Raised for paralyzed veterans
The Lois Stobbs Memorial Veterans 10K race is committed to raising funds and awareness for paralyzed veterans and veteran service dogs. Runners and walkers partake in helping the co-recipients, West Virginia Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America and Paws for Purple Hearts equally.
Participants can come to Bridge Street Middle School on Friday, November 1 to pick up their race packet.
Race packet pick up concludes. All participants who did not attend on Friday can pick up their race packet before the 8:30 am start time.
Bridge Street Middle School opens for participants to pick up their race packets and begin warming up for the race. Buses run from 14th and Main Street to Bridge Street Middle School. Last bus leaves at 7:30 a.m.
Race begins at Bridge Street Middle School.
Race finishes at WesBanco Arena. Buses shuttle participants back to Bridge Street Middle School. Last bus is before 11 a.m.
An awards banquet takes place at WesBanco arena.
Participants enjoy a meal catered by Ye Olde Alpha and awards for 4 different groups are announced.
